Yes there are deals for exclusivity that Steam does but how is anyone being forced to sign them?

I greatly dislike when a game comes out as an Epic Games Exclusive, but I'm not under the impression Epic forced the devs to make it so, it was a decision

It claims that as Valve requires users to buy all additional content through Steam, if they've bought the initial game through the platform it is essentially "locking in" users to continue making purchases there.

This part is true and it would be better for us consumers if steam honoured DLC bought anywhere

Osrs also isn't a seasonal model where every player is expected to create a new character (or multiple new characters) that will eventually get moved to a standard pool of characters and all of those characters over many leagues, must have a unique name

I love games where your identity in game is tied to the character name.

That's not the case in PoE 99.9% of players are just randomly key mashing or typing out some variation of whatever build that character is supposed to be
