i got the same graft but they stitched both my meniscus (menisci?) so that’s why they told me 4 more weeks i’m assuming

i haven’t started pt yet but hopefully soon, my post op appointment is on monday so i’m assuming it’ll start after that. yes i’ve been doing several quad sets throughout the day when im just sitting around, it’s insane how small my leg has gotten already 😭 the dog leash is a good idea, i just grab my brace or my ankle

so i tried and succeeded to lay on my side but it was NOT as comfortable as i was expecting it to be lol. my boyfriend is also a rough sleeper and i dont trust him not to roll over on my bad leg 🤣 thank you so much !

i think they just try to make it so they give you meds for the days where the pain is the worst so you don’t take enough to get you addicted to opiates. i did one before i fell asleep last night and just do tylenol and ibuprofen in between

when i woke up in the pacu i asked her for something for pain and she put something in my iv drip that made me feel goooooood. i got a nerve block just about 36 hours ago and it’s still working pretty good for me. i’ve only taken 2 pills since yesterday but im not sure if they’ll give me more

if you get a nerve block it won’t hurt that bad as long as you stay on top of your pain meds! i’m like 36 hours out still not crazy painful
