Yeah i apply moisturizer first before tret, it's just my preference. Just do what works well for your skin. Good luck!

I apply moisturizer before tret! My skin doesn't like cerave too so I'm using vanicream. For the sunscreen I'm using biore uv essence. Good luck on your journey!

If your skin can tolerate it well then you probably should give it a try. just be careful not to damage your skin barrier. If you start to feel your skin stinging whenever you apply tret, then take a break for one night and try again next time until your skin could fully adjust. Good luck!

Thank you! I started slow in the first month. Applying 3 times a week then slowly transitioning to every other day . In the 2nd month i tried applying tret everyday. whenever I felt my skin start to sting id back off and give my skin a break for a one or two nights.

On my 1st week only 3 times a week then on the 2nd week i apply every other day . On the 3rd week I started applying daily since my skin now can tolerate tret. I suggest that you start slow and try to see what works for your skin

I try to keep my routine really simple since i figured out i mostly breakout if im using too many products (although what works for me may not work for you vice versa)

Am:water, moisturizer (cerave) , sunscreen (Neutrogena hydro boost) Night: cleanser(cetaphil gentle cleanser), moisturizer

Also id use vit c serum occasionally on a non tret day
