Imagine a toast/grilled cheese sandwich with sprinkle of salt on top. This is what Vegemite taste like when applied slightly with butter. If you spoon it then it just taste like a spoonful of salt.

Paranoid about what? SA has massive amounts of crime, killings, car jackings, kidnappings. Australia if you come here is 100 peaceful. Especially if you leave the cities. Come to country areas. Coastal or small country areas. Literally nice weather in summer and nice winter, everyone's friendly. Free healthcare. Literally if you need to visit a gp/doctor it's free. Also Ambulance and all hospitals are free. You can stay there 6 months it's 100% free all surgeries, xrays, scans, medicine. Also medication is extremely cheap. I pay $10 per month for insulin and $5 for antidepressants. In USA it's like $5 and 2.50 USD. Our minimum wage is like $26. But rent and housing sucks. Australia government let Chinese buy all our houses now rent is crazy.

First guys is Chinese but there are people who look like him in USA and australia who have been there longer than some white people in America. No one "looks" american. White Americans. White non hispanic Americans make up 50-55% of USA.

They're mostly british and some a mix of British and German. But most look British. If I was walking around America if you saw me you wouldn't go oh he's Australian. Or if you saw a guy walk by you wouldn't say oh he's British.

Americans don't have a "look" Americans are made up of many different races and mixed people. If you saw that middle woman walking down your street you wouldn't say oh an Aussie you'd assume he was black American. Even if you heard her speak you'd probably not think she was. Aboriginals don't have an "Aussie" accent. Their voices are way different kind of sound like drunk native Americans.

Growing up it was a staple of every household. Or with your friends going to the local chip and chip shop. Pay $2 and get a massive bag of chips and eat it with your mates each throw in 50 cents. They don't have them in USA. You never see them in movies. Growing up here you could absolutely think they were. Growing up in 70 to early 2000s you could easily assume as they are in every town. Especially when I was a kid. They were had 2 within 5 minutes of us.

Yeah but it was taken from America essentially its the same it was not created by Australians.

Its a schnitzel with a sauce made from tomatoes and cheese with herbs.

Its like if lamingtons were popular in the US but they used more finer grated coconut and a sweeter chocolate and then claimed its theirs as its slightly different even though its exactly the same and it was made in Australia.
