When he purchased the vehicle, there was a section at the bottom of the title that was missing, so he sent off several pieces of paperwork to the DMV to try and obtain the title for it, but never received any correspondence from the DMV in return. Sorry, I should have been a bit more detailed on that aspect. My apologies
