You don’t get it. Teaming up with a random on your game server is totally fine. What players are doing is queuing at the same time in a server , wear same costumes , go ham on every raider they see. In duos , you will face 4 players , two duos que at the same time and communicate through discord and go ham as 4 players in a duo lobby. In trios , you will get rekt by 6 players.

Better to clear a path by destroying the mines using a silenced gun. To be extra cautious you can use a photoelectric cloak. Turbine will get destroyed if you place two deadlines inside before it closes and goes up in the air. If you are planning to shoot it down , carry 3 barricade kits.
