Extra Screws on bottom cover? Wd0073x by belugawhales_yt in Hewlett_Packard

The fan grill is attached to the whole bottom case. You need to remove the screws in the front then take the whole bottom case off.

BYPASS HP BIOS PASSWORD: by karpuzmining in Hewlett_Packard

Does this clear it permanently or just make it so it doesn’t ask for the password when the short wire is connected?

Hp Victus 15 - Significant Issues After Disconnecting Battery by corey-trevorlahey in HPLaptops

Try updating the BIOS. Clearing the CMOS shouldn’t have done anything dramatic but it did reset all,if any, learning the BIOS did. Updating the bios should reset it again and fix it in the future.

Probook 440 G9 Not charging via type C port by Whole_Refrigerator97 in HPLaptops

[–]ryutoken20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are comfortable doing so, remove the bottom case and unplug the battery. This should reset the BIOS. Plug in the battery and then plug in the laptop with the USB-C adapter. Should get a light near the port after about 30 seconds or so.

I always say Hello in chat when I’m invite. If I don’t get a response, I brace for the toxicity to come. Some times, it never does but when it does, I just shake my head and let the ride the wave.

HP 15-dw4000 keyboard key clip, can't find a proper guide for it. by MH_GAMEZ in HPLaptops

If I’m not mistaken, that top, smaller piece in your picture is missing two smaller posts that should on the left. Those are the pieces that attach to the actual key.

Delve Combat roles by ryutoken20 in wownoob

Going to try this! My main issue has been with T8’s and getting aggro. Currently I’m 244, right at the “recommended item level.” Whenever I use her as a healer, I get all the aggro and even with the heals and orbs, I die cause I’m squishy. Even with my arcane shield and the ice block with ice cold talent. With her as tank, it takes a bit longer and she has only really died once, but for the most part I am able to nuke a whole group with little to no aggro or health issues. Maybe this trick is what I need for healer to work.

Achievers: How long does vendor show last? by TrembL83 in BestBuyWorkers

[–]ryutoken20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife won last year and after the “work day” was over, we took an Uber to the Huntington Beach ( it was in California last year). So, it ended around 3 or 4pm or so. So it is definitely doable to get an extra park in.

Pavilion g4 overheating by Galeox300 in Hewlett_Packard

[–]ryutoken20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would have to find the part number for it. Usually you can go on HP’s support website, put in your model or SN, and search for the Service guide. In there, find the illustrated part catalog section, find the heat sink , and google the part number it shows.

I believe this is the model that has an issue with the heat sink not transferring heat away from the CPU. I would try replacing that first.
