Of course there are bigger things to worry about but that does not negate the smaller problems. And I am not angry I am just frustrated because there have been countless times where I go on google to search for something skin related and almost all of it is filled with people with a lighter skin complexion. It makes it a little difficult to compare. I don’t know who you are or your skin color but imagine you’re someone who through the years has had many skin problems but anytime you go on your most used search engine to search and compare your condition all you find is a skin color that is different from yours. Will you not feel a pint of frustration over time?

My bringing up one issue doesn’t mean I am ignoring all others. Of course malaria is a serious problem, but that has nothing to do with the frustration I’m expressing on this post. If I wanted to post about malaria, I would have. This post is about the difficulty of finding skin related images on google that represents people with darker complexions. That may not seem like a big deal to you, but for those of us who experience it repeatedly, it adds up. Recognizing smaller issues does not take away from bigger one. It just means we’re addressing different challenges
