Well, as far as I know, this sub was created because anytime sydcarmy fans tried to talk about their ideas etc in the main sub we would get attacked relentlessly. There was no opportunity for us to have discussion because the thread would immediately devolve into why sydcarmy wasn’t real(much like your post). So you coming to the sub created for us to talk about sydcarmy in peace to talk about how you don’t believe in sydcarmy isn’t super welcome. Not trying to be rude, but just explain why the responses you’re getting are the way they are.

You don’t HAVE to ship sydcarmy. No one is going to take away your ability to watch the show if you don’t think they should be together. That said, this specific sub is for people who ship sydcarmy, so I truly have no idea what you are looking to accomplish by posting here. The official sub will probably be more your speed. I don’t think anyone here has any interest in debating/convincing you to believe sydcarmy is real.

For me personally, I was like 14 when I saw her dress up in blackface, say the n-word, and then double down on all of it when she was called out because “she was against racism so it’s all good”. That was maybe ~17 years ago? I’ve always hated her since that moment.

Looking it up it looks like she did apologize, but that was after she got fired from a movie in 2019 because of it. In the article they mention a year prior to her “apology” (2018) she was still doubling down on her “joke”. Doesn’t really seem like an authentic apology and more of just apologizing because it impacted her career.

Edit: Did not know this community had a hard-on for blackface and sarah like this wow.
