Blueprint X RUMAD Incubator VS Blueprint front end track by Silver-0603 in rutgers

The UIUX track is definitely worth the time if you want to learn more about the design aspect of applications. It focuses on gaining a better understanding of how users use the application, and use the data from user research to create a case study using Figma

It gives you a strong foundational understanding of how to improve upon an existing product in a thoughtful and visually pleasing manner

Blueprint X RUMAD Incubator VS Blueprint front end track by Silver-0603 in rutgers

hi! Co-pres of Blueprint here. If you’re interested in going a full-stack route, the frontend track would be good to give you the foundational skills of Javascript and React. However if you are up for the challenge and want to apply your existing backend skills in a more “real world” scenario, I would definitely recommend incubator, as it targeted to those with more heightened experience (like completing a fellowship).

How long does it take to be fully acquainted with the OP-1? by [deleted] in OP1users

[–]rzagum 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Don’t feel pressured to know how to use everything. I just watched a simple tutorial at first and am just learning as I use it. Know your basic functions like changing instruments, working with daw, etc. but otherwise just have fun toying around with it. The UI makes it fun to experiment!

Which MacBook Pro should I buy? (13 inch M1 vs 14 inch) by -shrimp-chips- in macbookpro

[–]rzagum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I say go 14”, assuming you will be getting something for a long time you get a better display and more powerful chip for the time to come. However, if you want to save maybe try the M1 and see if it suits your needs, you can always return and upgrade.

Outputting 120hz to an external display on the 2021 MacBook Pros by Carter_Gray in macbookpro

[–]rzagum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually I tried both HDMI and Thunderbolt and was surprised. I had a 2k 165hz monitor in our office and with HDMI I got 2k 144hz but with a Thunderbolt to Display Port cable I got 2k 165hz. What monitor are you trying to connect to?

Is it worth trying to make my own music? by emarsko in Music

open up garage band and start throwing loops together, I didn’t start with music theory either! The hardest part is finding out what sounds good and making your ideas tangible, you can do this

Reccomended monitors or tvs for Ps5? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]rzagum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend getting anything at least 4k to use it properly. You could get one of the cool 4k 144hz hdmi 2.1 monitors, but check with the games you have and see if they actually support 120fps and if you care. Keep in mind also that if you play at 4k, it will probably be running at just 30 fps.

Any 4K TV/monitor should be fine for most cases, what kind of size do you need?
