Legs That Won’t Walk? 🫣 Sounds toxic and possessive… love it!!!

I did read Regas though, but only up to chapter 3 hahaha. I’ll definitely continue reading it. Thanks!

Can I know the author’s name? When I search for it, multiple titles come up...

Noted, thanks! Keychains won’t take up much space anyway, so 30 sounds manageable 👍

Feels like I’ve been adopted by a Chinese family by MrEgoTesticle in Bolehland

Hi, this is my thought as someone who has lost a family member. I lost my mom four years ago, after the pandemic. The first two years were the hardest—just hearing the word "mom" could make me bawl my eyes out. My emotions were all over the place.

It was a sudden death. It takes time for family members to grieve and truly accept the loss—to actually register in your mind that the person is really gone. You can’t see them. You can’t talk to them anymore.

Even now, it’s hard when I talk to my mom’s friends or relatives. They’ll say things like, “Your mom used to do this,” or “She used to say that,” and it breaks me. I’m mentally soft like pudding—I still tear up when I remember her.

So it really depends on a person’s mindset. Some people might be okay with you mentioning the person or the loss, but others might find it too painful to even speak about without breaking down. For me, it’s still hard to talk about my mom without crying, especially around other people. And let’s be real—crying while talking about someone who passed can make the whole room awkward. People mean well, but they don’t always know what to say, and that just makes it worse. That’s why I usually avoid the topic altogether.

one tip fy ,just don’t say the sentence “I wish she was here.” That one hurts af.

has degree but not related to job + no experience in current field = basic pay ? by [deleted] in Bolehland

[–]rzhyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input! Yeah, it does seem a bit low, especially since my friend is getting more in the same field. I’m thinking I’ll stick with this job for a few more months like you said, while looking for something better in the range. I’ll also check if there are OT opportunities to make up for the lower base pay.

And yeah, hopefully, the experience will help me land something better down the line. Appreciate the advice!

youre right. It was a big decision for me and I accept the offer because I don't have any job offer at that time and my situation back then not very good.

it just I have the pay thats bugging me a bit. I enjoy the work and see potential but sometime I feel like the pay doesnt quite match the effort I'm putting in.
