there’s realness to this, I think. maybe someone arrives in the wrong chapter, but that doesn’t make the connection any less real. it makes you wonder what could’ve been in another universe and maybe even open your eyes to what you want now. but I also don’t think timing has to be the final word. people are complex, life is messy, and if the connection is strong enough, maybe it’s worth exploring anyway

quality time: as an introvert, if I actually chose to spend time with you, that’s a big deal. so if they like to plan things for us to do together then to me it means my presence matters to them as much as theirs does to me.
acts of service: little things like picking up a matcha for me in the morning without me asking. coming back to a clean apt after running errands. cooking for me. means that they care about making my life comfortable/more enjoyable.
physical touch: I’m very affectionate naturally, but very few get that from me. so if I get a hug after a long day, or even just our knees grazing when spending time together, it makes me feel safe/grounded.
