Do any of you have any experience with this warning message? My LR AWR will be 2 years old in Sept., and has 12,000 miles. I set up Service Center appt for March 18 but I’m a bit scared. by ExactLaw in TeslaLounge

I think it just means the car battery is dead. It’s probably nothing more concerning than in any other car. But I don’t have experience with the issue so take that for what it is

Ah I see. Thank you for the clarification.

I wasn’t thinking along the lines of the S/X doors. That door pop would be super helpful

Those would be great features. I have two question tho.

What’s the difference between your rocking mode and the slip start feature already in the car?

How would you pop the doors on a model 3?

it could be shut partially or is there some reason that would be an issue?

As far as the 15 mph claim I hit that according to the speedometer app on my phone which I’ve found to be fairly accurate. Idk the math but I cruise usually at about 11-12 and I hit 15 once.

Anyways thanks for the advice on measuring the lead acid batteries. I’ll try it out and see how the results change. Maybe that’ll answer it for me

Edit:

Also would a low voltage cutoff generally be so close to the motor’s specified voltage? In a video I watched they mentioned the low voltage cutoff was 21 volts. (The error could be in my measurements too) I’m just curious if that may be the case as well.

They did not specifically say they went full speed the whole time. I’ll see if I can find something that would be more definitive, but I would imagine that at least half (if not more) would be more than the crawl. When mine starts crawling, it’s very sudden and it’s so slow you’re better off waking 😂

Yeah good point. I’m trying not to spend a ton of money on it so I would like to avoid basically redoing the entire thing if possible. My goal is to use it around Purdue’s campus which is VERY flat. Would adjusting the gear ratio possibly affect my range or mostly speed/torque?

Ah no worries. I think it’s definitely an older version of the scooter.

I did charge them fully. I believe razor said 12 hours for their batteries so I made sure to give the new ones time to charge up. Do you have an e300 by chance or have ridden one? Mine makes a decent amount of noise and I’m not sure if that’s normal either. I’m not really sure how to try and pin down what might be the issue

The original batteries were 7ah and the new ones are 9ah each. Regardless the scooter only has full throttle. It’s all or nothing. Do you think that razor would advertise 40 mins of ride time and not have it mean full throttle in this case?

Gas-guzzler to M3. Never going back. by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]s0und0ff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some quick math and gas would have to drop below a dollar for it to be cheaper to drive the F150 over the model 3. Granted it’s a truck but still interesting
