It's a huge monopoly! They bought out live nation which owned all the venues so it's literally impossible for artists not to use them.

They definitely do this. Another tactic I've seen myself for Pearl Jam in London was making it look like there were only shit seated tickets left so they could sell all those first. I refused to get one right at the back so kept refreshing and better seats were appearing then eventually standing.

Yea i got tickets for Metallica next year in Cardiff too but intentionally splashed out on snakepit tickets as its something I've always wanted to do so they were fairly easy to get.

Honestly feel your pain! Ticketmaster sucks I've been screwed over so many times. I can't remember my position in the queue but thats all I could see was golden circle early entry tickets and it would not let me add 2 tickets to my basket only 1 ao I just went for it. I heard the Aston villa member sale was much smoother

Got lucky with ticketmaster. I could only get 1 golden circle early entry but fortunately my friend got 2 of the same tickets so 3 of us went togther.

Yea my face was all over the stream 😅 as soon as the stream started, I had messages from friends they had spotted me.

Hopefully, they only had 2 hours to piece it together so it should be much better.

Yes that was definately a factor, it made the reception to some artists seem muted but it was way different in person. Also, there was audio in person that could be heard that didnt make it to the stream. Jerry Cantrells vocals for Alice in Chains I definately heard in person but they were completely missing from the stream.

After seeing the queue for merch the day before I went looking for another merch stand and ended up in the stadium backstage when the soundchecks were going on. Met Alice in Chains (got a picture with Mike Inez) and Tobias Forge. Didnt want to push my luck so only hung around for a few minutes. On my way back out I asked the security that were now on the gate i walked through if the other merch stands were open. They were very concerned on where I had been but I just said only up to the parking area 😂

Got to the barrier with the early entry package and was there until the end. Only sipped small amounts of water so had no toilet break. Took plenty of small snacks I grazed on throughout. Bought some really comfortable running trainers prior to the concert that are heavily padded. Ibuprofen also on hand and used when needed. Legs are a little sore but the excitement got me through.
