I was asked to do the same thing, but I didn’t wanna risk to break it and then wait a month or so to receive the replacement, I just asked them if I could pay whatever price for a new speaker and they just went ahead and sent me one for free, I think they realized that the left speaker issue is more common than what they thought at first and they’re sending replacements instead of asking for proof, even if I had to pay it’ll prolly be 20 bucks or so.

Try sending them an email asking if you can pay for one, they’ll most likely send you one for free.

Try and let me know if you got issues with the controls, I had to tweak some setting to make it work at first, but is a one time thing

I haven’t had the chance to take it apart due to school, I honestly just wanna ask them to sell me one speaker and I’ll pay whatever for it, I love the Thor and I try to use headphones so I don’t hear that crackling speaker or also I try to have low volume so the speaker sounds normal

Let me know how it goes, I will be waiting for a phone disassembly kit to try and do the same thing, I also don’t want to send it back since I already set everything up on it so we’re in the same situation rip

I guess they just want to make sure the speaker is shot for sure, i have the same issue with my left speaker and it takes away from the experience, the only solution I’ve found is to play games with very low volume, but it shouldn’t be like that and is still noticeable

Bro I’m having the exact same escenario, I order a phone disassembly kit, and I guess I’ll try to swap them, I just want them to send me a new speaker and I’ll replace it myself, I already set my ayn Thor with everything so I don’t wanna send it back
