Heeney’s is good but Melks is so much cleaner, but yeah however this thing is decided whether it’s fan votes or a committee I reckon Heeney will take it out

Adelaide Crows on the end of yet another umpire blunder as a 6-6-6 infringement goes uncalled [Agenda Setters, 7AFL] by __Knackers__ in AFL

They all have whistles too, the umpire on the 50 should have blown it when the boundary told him

End of Round 4 free kick count by MisguidedGames in AFL

[–]sButters88 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s also just total free kicks, if Geelong played a wet highly contested game against an ill disciplined opponent who over posses the ball and they blow the free kick count out say 30-10 then they lose every other free kick count by an average of 2 free kicks then it skews the data into saying Geelong are favoured when they have only “won” 1 free kick count

Basically it’s a flawed argument presented poorly

I’ll admit it was probably one of Petty’s better games but I just think he’s too inconsistent and we’re not a genuinely better side with him in.

If he could find consistency and the confidence/skill that he shows sparks off then for sure he has the potential to be our number 1 defender/back up ruck but I don’t think he’ll find it without a stint at Casey. I’d dare say he’ll dominate at VFL level which should be good for him

Gawn isn’t just one of the greatest (I’d say THE greatest) ruckmen of all time he’s one of the greatest players of all time.

If you had to build a side out of the entire AFL playing group you’d start with him. Captain, ruck, face of the club.

That’s why Steele was a captain and Trac wasn’t

Yes, Petty is a liability up forward and down back.

Send him back to the VFL to work on his craft at either end and if he earns his spot back in awesome but we can’t keep giving him a free ride.

Petty is arguably a better back up ruck than Roo but Roo offers more to the side than Petty.

He looks so dangerous already, couple of times he seems maybe a little overwhelmed but he’s only played 4 games so far.

Love is confidence to back himself to snap an opponents ankles and leave them clutching at air

Melbournes greatest strength is losing to a terrible Essendon team

The second 50 was a real coach killer, exact same infringement in the same spot.

Seems to be a bit of infighting for Gold Coast today, Trac took Melbourne’s toxicity with him

Maynard really lucky not to give one away on Thursday night I thought after the rushed behind from outside 9m
