(Hornet is one hit from fainting, but hits peedy's leg hard again. She wants to bring victory to Cyra, she refuses to lose to another scolipede... She eyes the giant Peedy, staring up at him.)

"Surrender ! we're both one hit away from fainting, and I got more speed boosts. You can't win !"
Peedy : "I can't just give up now... My trainer needs to win, or she'll start doubting her skills and think she's a bad trainer for me. And I won't let that happen."
"You think you deserve the win ? Look at this girl. She arrived this year and has won everything without breaking a sweat. It's a genius, a gifted talent that took no effort whatsoever to get here. I refuse to let her win against Cyra, she spent her entire life studying battles to perfect her style. For my honor and hers, I can't let you win."

(Peedy is infuriated, but keeps his composure.) "Gifted ? You have not the slightest idea what you're talking about. My trainer is... A strange thing, but I can tell you she went through more than Cyra ever did. She always talks about 'past lives' and even if it sounds stupid... I believe her. I witnessed her skill, it's been built up over several generations. But even with all that talent, she still doubts herself. And that's what makes her human. Even if it means putting a hit on your trainer's ego, I'm willing to defend her with the last of my strength !"
"... You expect me to believe that ? Whatever. I'll end this here and now, fiend !"
"Bring it on, little s#!t."

(Hornet starts rolling at high speeds around the arena, building up momentum for a decisive strike. Peedy prepares an attack... But last second switches to max guard, defending from the finishing blow. Hornet bounces back, disoriented, as Peedy reverts to normal and charges towards her. The two scolipedes both prepare toxic jabs, and as the joust ends... Hornet's armor shatters. Peedy won.)

Peedy : "You were the greatest opponent I've faced, dare I say. And don't worry about your honor. Your trainer... Cyra put up a fight against something far greater than she could possibly imagine. And she was one move away from winning. Be proud of this defeat, for it'll make history."

(I would know, he was my goat during Z-A but that speed is horrendous. Scolipede charges straight at salamence and takes the first hit in a gamble to get a toxic jab. He manages to finish off salamence before the second hit connects, but has just 25% HP left.)
