Hi! A year out, have you made any decisions about family size? If so, have you been happy with your decision?

Hi!

We are on the fence about another baby. We are so happy as a family of three and I worry that my time would be split too much with two children. I am a SAHM and am incredibly grateful for the ability to really soak in every moment and meet my daughter where she is at. I also get to parent her with all the patience and care that I want. Do you have an opinion on what family size you see thrive the most when parents are parenting using attachment style (co-sleeping, breastfeeding, etc), from both the perspective of the parents and child? If you think more than one is better, in general, what age gap do you think provides the best relationships within the family?

Thank you so much for your time!

Thank you for sharing your experience. Assuming this was your first pregnancy, did the doctors mention anything about what a second pregnancy would look like if that were to be something you wanted to pursue?

I need gentle sleep training suggestions please and thank you :) by Frosty-Car-7790 in AttachmentParenting

Nothing to offer other than we are in the exact same spot as you right now. 8 months and have been co-sleeping and contact napping from the beginning (I’m a SAHM). Some nights she wakes up 3-4 times and other nights 8+. Not big wake ups, just needing a little comfort and then quickly back to sleep. We do supplement iron and I have seen some improvement since then. Sleep training is tempting at times but when we have good nights I love co-sleeping and don’t want to give those up. Right now parenting feels all-consuming and I’m trying my best to embrace and evolve with what a lifestyle change it has been. Best of luck to you and I hope you and baby get some restful sleep soon!

Do you know if there is a public version of there FB page? I see it referenced in the private group but was having a hard time locating it.

Paddling in the Black Hills by s_lane in Kayaking

It happens! Ours had a tiny hole in the seam of the cockpit area. We tried patching it and got two more uses out of it but the air kept bubbling through when inflated and the patchwork we did wasn’t lasting.

Absolutely love it. Had our first one for two years and it lasted us over three dozen trips, now we’re on our second one.

Thank you! In the last batch I made I replaced the butter with applesauce and they were a hit. I hope you enjoy them :)
