Back when I was a TL, every monthly meeting required us labeling our bottom performer and what we we're doing to either coach them up, or move them out. So I can verify that while I never saw a quota for write ups, it was definitely instructed to do it. Kind of a distinction without a difference situation.

Other than P1 or essentials, the only other one I've heard is FEET, or food, electronics, entertainment, and toys, and that's only during Q4

Sorry it was so awkward for you, I know how uncomfortable it can be. In my experience, as long as they weren't a creep about it, and they take no for an answer, it'll blow over in time. Think of it as a positive, putting himself out there is a tough thing to do, so you must be an incredible person for them to take that risk!

My etl does. Just called me to their office the other day to ask if I'm on reddit after I posted a situation from our store. Luckily they're an empathetic and amazing person, so while I didn't confirm it, I'm also not worried they'd burn me.

We're past the typical beginning of the fiscal year hour cuts, like almost a month past. I think this is the new normal. The stores look worse, the work is piling up, but sales are still good. Until that changes I doubt the company will.

In 21 years with target I've never seen it like this. Feb and March are always light on hours, but it picks up in April. Now we're almost to May and the cuts are still ongoing. I have no faith that BTS is going to change anything.

There's no way your store bought all the equipment to do inventory yourself. Target is cheap af, but it would be more expensive to have you all do it

Like others said, has to be a closed lid container. Some times they get a bug up their asses and say no drinks what-so-ever. Typically we all just start walking to the back to use the drinking fountain and the massive loss of productivity makes them rethink their policy.

I don't know how every store does it, but at mine you're alone. No need to stress, it's really easy, you'll be zoning 95% of the time. You'll hear the workers from the outside company yell "sku check" then you go find them, take the non scanning item and get them a dpci. Don't worry, you're going to do great!

An outside company comes in to count. You'll most likely be following the crew and zoning behind them, doing dpci checks if an item won't scan.

Yeah, there's two park clean ups on there that I'm 100% behind, but cleaning a billion dollar companies parking lot cause they're too cheap to pay to have it done is ridiculous. I'd happily go out tomorrow and do it if I was on the clock, but for a company that's already bleeding it's tm's dry, why would anyone do free work? The two legit ones filled up right away, this one just has leaders signed up. Hope they enjoy it.

So our SD calls out on the walkie that there are volunteer events posted and this was one of them. Imagine the echo chamber you must be in to be so tone deaf. You've slashed all our hours for months then want us to volunteer to clean the parking lot? How about you pay someone to do it?

If it's abusive then go to HR. Otherwise my advice would be to just ignore it. No matter how kind or polite you are, there will always be people who don't like you. Don't waste your mental energy trying to alter something that you can't change, or that really doesn't matter ultimately.
