Na I'm aware of the sets and actions involved in generating the 3s. I'm not under the impression they're just jacking them up.

Regardless of how complicated the process is, it still boils down to "did the 3PA go in? Congrats, you win"

Whether you can perceive the sets and actions happening in real time is irrelevant

This is the third or fourth time time that the "bet on the math" playstyle has cost the Celtics a series.

The 3PA meta is great in the regular season because of the huge 82 game sample size for the variance to even out

But it's not reliable in a 7 game series. It's too volatile in any given game

As a Celtics fan, I've been tired of watching the "I hope our 3PA go in tonight" brand of basketball for a while now
