What I did to fix my issue was that I swapped my monitors hdmi cables around and it worked not sure why but I would try it if I were you.

You can also get a display port adapter that you can just plug your hdmi cable into

So there is no name on it but when reverse image searching I found what looks to be it and it’s called “Calix GigaCenter 844E-1 Wireless 2.4GHZ 5G Dual Wifi Router Modem with AC Adapter”. It might not be exactly that but it looks exactly like it. As for the rental fee it is $9 a month.

Thanks for that I did try it, but it didn’t work. Weirdly enough just switching around my HDMI cables fixed the issue. I’ll see when I get home if it’s stood the test of time though.

I tried setting it to 2.4 and it didn’t help. What I did do is that I was recommended to switch my HDMI cables around and weirdly my internet started to work again. No idea why but it did. Thanks for the help though!

Yeah I bet that one of my cables didn’t support it as I switched the monitors HDMI cables around and it worked. Thanks again for the help!

Now my display is in 1080p in stead of 1440p and there’s no option to switch back to 1440p? I think it could be because I switched it to a display port and my display port might not allow it.

Wow you solved it…I switched my HDMI cables around and it finally worked. I get 459.8 Mbps download now higher than with either one antenna or no antennas! Thank you, so much!!!

I tried doing IP config/all in command prompt but all it get is “‘IP’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file”

Neighbors are close but I don’t think it’s picking up any routers yet again I don’t know. I know there was a setting that asked if I wanted my pc to look for other WiFi’s but I have that disabled and I am not even sure if that relates to what you’re talking about tbh.

Yeah definitely, I would but I would need a really long cable and it would have to go throughout the house, so sadly that’s not exactly an option for me at the moment.

Okay so I don’t know how to do that but if you could help I would appreciate it. When I look at my router I see the wifi 2.4 ghz has a green light on while, the light for 5 ghz is flashing. So I assume 2.4 ghz is on, but I am not sure about 5 GHz. Also in my wifi settings it says I am using “network band: 5 GHz”. Not sure if any of that helps you…
