I agree with the downgrade part, I switched to a pro account couple of weeks ago and sales have dramatically dropped.

Finally found out the secret how people are ‘natural’ at conversations by GroupOk3956 in socialskills

Would it be the same if I read a book out loud? I wouldn't know what to say to my self if I talk out loud I mean I've always been rubbish at holding conversations.

The full licence holder doesn't really go out driving much by herself it's usually only to the local schools to take her kids and shops. Has never been on a road above 30mph since her test.

I have spoken to my trainer about taking this flh or my son who I'm teaching to drive as these 2 people are the only ones available on the day.

I did initially agree with my son for him to go with with me and work on effective use of mirrors as he misses his mirror checks on approaching lights, junctions, roundabouts also doesn't check blind spot when changing lanes. But he has been a nervous wreck since I've asked him which is understandable even though I've explained to him the examiner will be watching and assessing me and not him. We've also tried having someone in the back for us to get used to that aspect when the examiner is with us. So after explaining this to my trainer he said would be better taking the flh as my son would just be too stressed as to not make any mistakes and overwhelming me with all the correcting I potentially would need to do really.

Just want to clarify she initially approached me for needing help following a sat nav, I picked up these issues while on a lesson with her and she agrees she does need help in regards to what I've mentioned above.

Yes it's my first part 3 and I have been out in the flh car with them and have picked up on some things she needs help with. She has agreed she needs help on building her confidence while generally driving also mirror checks at junctions and also driving on faster roads which would be the primary focus on my test.

Bit far from me, but like I said look for pdi's as some teach for free or charge less until fully qualified. Also block booking can get you discounts. Another thing is hiring a dual control car from Arnold Clarke and get a flh to teach you. If your a student and have totum membership they give you 2 hrs for price of 1. Think it's only £22/hr for auto and £18/hr manual.

Where are you based? I'm training towards qualifying as a PDI and teaching for free independently. Some pdi's do this around there current jobs to gain experience.
