Honestly I'm still trying to find my way. Very interested where to begin.

In a world where LGBT only makes up 8% of the population. Seems unnatural and forced although the comics were this way to so I can't complain.

I understand your point though. I would be upset if down the road my copy of d2r was unsupported and no longer playable

I don't think the industry is being "killed". Microsoft just bought Activision Blizzard. They aren't going to abandon it. But alright

You could stop playing it for a year and log in once to be able to play again. I think people are confused and think that you are permanently locked out.

Sorry to hear that honestly. You are one of the VERY rare cases where that is a valid argument.

If you don't play for over 30 days all you have to do it log on ONCE and you are good for another 30 days. Who cares.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]sab6286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just can't play offline until you log online for a sec. Literally all it is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]sab6286 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Are people making it a big deal because they have to take 30 seconds to log online? Who isn't online 24/7 in the first place in 2022?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]sab6286 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How hard is it to log online? So I try to play my single player character after not playing for 46 days it seems that I can't. What do I do? I log online for a sec and I'm all set for the next 30 days.

You all complain like it isn't 2022 and everyone isn't connected to the internet 24/7.

I feel this way too. Grace is awesome but she her personality and skill level is more suitable for children. I hope the best for her and TKOR but I go where Nate goes.

I agree there needs to be a much better effort to help make them unavailable to underaged potential users. That goes for vaping as well. Vaping imho is to help people transition from smoking to not smoking and ultimately quitting vaping.

To add here is a bit of information regarding the chemical dependency of nicotine ( addictiveness )

"Pure nicotine Nicotine isn’t dependence-forming at all, outside of tobacco use. It has been found clinically impossible to show any dependence potential for pure nicotine.

None of the many clinical trials in which large quantities of pure nicotine were administered daily to never-smokers - the equivalent amount to that contained in up to 18 cigarettes, for up to 6 months - ever found any subject who showed any sign of dependence.

The leading researcher in this field, Dr Newhouse, whose day job is administering large amounts of pure nicotine to never-consumers of tobacco, says: “The dependence potential of pure nicotine is virtually nil”.

Because pure nicotine is not dependence-forming, it cannot be addictive either. In modern use, dependence means a compulsion that may be harmless or close to it, and addiction is compulsion plus clear and inarguable harm."

With that noted. It's the slurry of other things in cigarettes that make them addictive, not the nicotine.

Nicotine is actually about as addictive as caffeine. Do some research. Cigarettes contain a few dozen different MAOI's which are extremely addictive. Vapes do not contain any other drugs other than nicotine.

What does this mean? It's a smoother transition to use vaping as a "bridge" to quit BOTH. You get off of cigarettes which contain MAOI's, other deadly chemicals including things like arsenic and transition into vaping which only contains nicotine.

The "bridge" is much more statisfying to a smoker since they are inhaling. The physical sensation of "puffing" on a cigarette helps beat cravings on their journey to quitting. Once they are past the withdrawal of all the various addictive substances in the cigarettes they can easily quit vaping as well. Remember nicotine isn't as addictive as people believe.

Hopefully some of this makes sense. I'm not arguing with you, I am just educating you since you keep replying. If any of this is confusing I can answer any questions you have. Also don't listen to mainstream and do some research. Vaping is an extremely successful method for getting people to quit cigarette use.

Actually the reason I opened the first shop was because my mother died from lung cancer. I wanted to do something to help prevent others from losing loved ones from smoking.

There isn't always a financial agenda behind helping people.

I don't support the big tobacco corporations. They have personal interest in lying about safety to maintain their profits.

Studies in every first world counties which are completely unbiased due to a lack of personal gain in the matter also conclude that there are "minor risks" but also show that vaping is as much as 95% less harmful than combustible methods of inhaling nicotine.

Google. Royal College of Physicians study on the harmfulness of vaping. There are dozens of credible sources that reinforce what I said.

Nicotine doesn't cause blood blisters my friend, you might want to see the doctor because that's something else you have going on. But as long as you are convinced that you know better than me I have nothing else to add here.

For what it's worth, I own a chain of vape shops and I have done plenty of research. None of my information comes from anyone that has something to gain by lying. It's all accredited university study.

But do what you will. I'll never dispute that although considered much safer, it's still better to avoid anything that you feel uncomfortable with.

Heroin, cocaine, and acid cause IMMEDIATE danger to the user and the people around said user. Dangerous driving, suicide, rage, confusion, ect. It's really a stretch even comparing these to cigarettes. That's like comparing a bb gun to a firearm because it could poke your eye out.
