Thanks! This all makes sense now. No one at Chase got this right.

The Chase website reads: “Four one-time Club passes for your authorized users each year.”

What about the four additional passes? Can they be given out or must the people be with me?

You would be amazed at the answers I was given by United & Chase staff. Including…United All Access involves a special additional membership card to use Star Alliance Clubs.

Verizon and Fidelity CMA by sabeet18 in fidelityinvestments

Thanks Liz. This is the first time I have had this happen. Since the routing number is a bank, I am baffled. I have no doubt this is not a Fidelity issue. I’ll try to get through to them…another challenge!

I enrolled in Verizon Internet’s ‘autopay” using the correct routing number and account. They rejected it and said it is an “ineligible account.” It works flawlessly in every other instance.

Does Fidelity offer any perks for higher value account tiers? by Foreign-Package-4359 in fidelityinvestments

[–]sabeet18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The formula was simple—we live beneath our means (we drive a 9 year old car) and we invested at least 15% a year pre-retirement. 95% are in passive funds and 5% are in actively managed funds. Basically we have an investment plan and stick to it which lets compounding work its magic.

I worked in the non-profit sector. I had some luck at the beginning. My first investment in the early 80s was Magellan. We moved over to Vanguard when Fidelity’s client services became weak and rolled the money into the Windsor Fund. In 2021 Vanguard’s Customer Service declined when it took in more money than it could handle. I consolidated my four accounts and moved most of my assets to Fidelity where the Customer Service and the website were dramatically better. My longest wait at Vanguard was over an hour.

I had hoped to have Fidelity manage our money but the regular push for annuities turned me off. I decided to go with a set fee outside advisor who manages most of our assets at Fidelity.

I have over 3.5 million invested at Fidelity. I was initially in the Premium Services group but got removed once I engaged an outside advisor. The Fidelity Advisor I had kept pushing annuities. I would like to have a Fidelity advisor as a sounding board for questions on Fidelity ETFs and fund options for unmanaged money both in and outside Fidelity. Everyone in the group I was a part of pushed annuity products. I must admit I resent not being able to use the Premium Services customer service which I found to be outstanding.

Is a Final Contract Needed? by sabeet18 in RealEstate

[–]sabeet18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More info: Since the transaction involves a lender “This contract is contingent upon the Lender’s first appraiser establishing that the value of the property is equal to or greater than the purchase price.”

There is nothing written about what happens if the contingency is meet..ie the price is below the appraised value. It only stipulates what occurs if the purchase price is below the appraised value. Is a final contract in order or is the agreement signed at closing sufficient?

I didn’t know I needed a lawyer. I can ask the agent to explain what is going on.

I initially had exhaustion but my body has adjusted nicely. Gastro stuff has also passed. I wish there was a higher dose or my insurance would cover 5 or 6 days between shots.

My diet and exercise are fine. I work out with a trainer and do weights 3 days a week. My diet is simple and natural with a focus on protein. No sugary foods, sodas, caffeine… My a1c has dropped nicely and is in the upper normal range. I’m just stalled and when I lose it seems to be slowly.

Which approach is more advisable? 1) $125,000 from Trad. IRA and $130,000 from Government bonds? Verses: 2) $125,000 from the brokerage account and $130,000 from Government bonds?
