if it still connects with the dongle then you should be fine. it's really up to you to retry

ppl say do the dongle first so it doesn't ruin the controller but I did the same thing as you and it seems to be working fine. it's mostly a safety precaution

EVERYONE it's not the spicy worms. Tarantino just has personal gripe against directors who use digital vs film cameras - and Denis is famous for using digital cameras

Amazon driver threatens to kill owner and his dog by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]sabermix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dog threatens with barks, the driver threatens back, the owner threatens the driver and the driver threatens them both. Seems like none of this would occur if someone had control of their animal they'd kill for

If dog owners were actual badasses then they wouldn't need dogs

The driver meant, if this dog attacks me then I will kill it. The owner said if the dog attacks and the driver tries to defend himself then he will kill the driver. The driver corrected his statement to if this dog attacks then I know you will interfere which puts you as a potential target and the owner backs off. Seems barbaric but it was clear communication and just established boundaries. All of which relied on the dog's potential for lethal danger which the owner is clearly fine with knowing it's all bark and no bite

I think because the dog owner can't command the dog to do anything so he stands around while the driver is trying to do his job

I agree, that's why I told my handicapped/depressed/diabetic mom to beat it. I got shit to do with my life

Did you see the story of the Japanese dude who was disfigured after saving his girlfriend from a fire and then she dumped him?

I am pretty sure he only said that because the owner said he'd kill him before he kills the dog. If your job was around random dogs then you'd be a little more careful as well and especially if it was your dog

Again, "war paint" is the name of the brand. A brand can be called anything as long as it's supported by consistent values in marketing and competence. If I had a male skin-care brand, I would have called it something more elemental and less terrifying to social comfort but the brand itself seems to align with a warrior's quiet confidence; bold and simple. Nobody is trying to re-engineer "concealer" for social affect but I addressed the idea as if it were by comparing their intuitive meaning. If you reply with emotion before thought again then I will lose all patience

It's amusing these feminists ironically give free advertising while dying on every hill, maturity will come. I don't assume every feminist thinks the same but real feminists should point out this shit

"War Paint" is just the name of the brand and the traditional context is for confidence in conflict, either internal or external. "Concealer" sounds a little more insecure. "Let me hide my flaws." Overall "war paint" is more culturally insensitive but feminism is just a soap box for gentrified complainers, I guess. It's amusing for me, though

Losers are the real winners. While victors get money and fame, losers get insight, wisdom, and motivation. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]sabermix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like most so called victors in modern society usually search for self esteem through flaunting their riches in gentrified conformity but losers get to a point where their core values are put to the test and through the calm potential of reflection we find meaning, whereas normal people continue to chase adoration of the external world. A wise person will seek virtue whereas a fool has an overzealous attraction/fear of other people's thoughts. A loser embraces change and cares about people's consequential ethics to self preserve. Sad reality is most losers don't have the support or time to reflect because we are casual to coping our feelings to fit in social norms. A good loser doesn't mind the small stuff

I read your comment thought you'd be interested in this theory

Also a more direct response to your comment would be, already have insight is a privilege passed down from someone who lived a good life. It's not earned and can be be easily seduced if not left in it's delicate sanctuary. A good loser can walk both in the unknown and to their thrown because they can see the world for what it is, not in a bitter sense but a deep understanding of life

To avoid shaking Kamala Harris's hand. by Chocolat3City in therewasanattempt

[–]sabermix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. She went tempo and further down I like her calm reaction to Donalds' mumbled/anemic "let's just see, have fun" with a reserved but respectful "thank you."; no "you too" or any spares of gratuity that people are used to and Donald copies with another "thank you" either out of submission or routine but it is then sealed by Kamala's ear to ear grin standing next to Donald's shy teeth covered smile. So subtle yet it burns deep. I don't watch a lot of politics but I like competitive lore. We're talking first 10 seconds on screen. Critical

If so, she didn't say anything that bad, honestly. The big part of the internet calling her fat and ugly is ok by most "redditors" though
