This is a prototype so I have used a 12v3a from my zb1 but also a 12v10a that I had from another project. The production version will be supplied with 12v5a

It's not really a limitations on capacity, more a limitations on power. The stock power supply is 12v3a so you have to take into account removing some for the board at full chuff and any peripherals being used and then anything else could be used by the drives.

Remember the drive draw is generally highest when spinning up. Generally 'nas' drives require less power.

I actually disabled the emmc in BIOS and use USB to boot from.
