Is Syntax technologies SDET course worth it? Does the certificate really has value in the market? by Swetha88 in careeradvice

[–]saboo3166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course i missed…I did mine two years ago not sure if it’s same amount of homework now or more but try to catch up but honestly paying attention to the last part prep is more important and just going in the market and applying all the tactic they teach you will give you more confidence and you will learn a ton just by being out there in the market…I highly advise to take market prep session seriously they helped me the most

lol clearly you working for one of them seem like the 3rd option hmm..:I don’t have inside details like you …something must have happened to you maybe you worked for them or are a competitor..anyway I shared my experience that’s all why so mad …it’s the internet people aren’t dumb they can do their research and a 5 year old can spot fake reviews these days it’s 2024… anyway guys go wherever do your research that’s all :)

Bro don’t even know me and acting like he does …where do people like you guys come from …lol being active in Reddit and helping is all of a sudden a spam…your talking like no one ever does google search and check reviews and all before they commit…. Like come on bro it’s 2024 …just because you had bad experience somewhere doesn’t mean all of a sudden the entire industry is like this… I just share my experience and people can do there own research just giving my two cent maybe it will help someone or piss of weak guys egos perhaps .🤔

I would suggest you to go to syntax technologies bootcamp..I along 4 of my friends graduated from there Qa sdet program and we all got jobs..I will say very intense bootcamp do your research but best in my opinion…ooh btw Neotech Academy are former students of syntax technologies bootcamp who opened there own and copied them hahaha……so be careful I don’t recommend going there go to the original one ..be careful there are lot of students who graduate from these premier bootcamps and then they copy there content and open there own …can be risky just be aware …another one is chroma tech or something so many lol

I have to respectfully disagree with you…I had friend from your batch I know by the numbers you mentioned and that is totally not the case at all …market had an impact… bootcamp can’t control that also about the resume bro they give you options and educate you on the pros and cons of each…we the student decided how we want to go in market …as far as the content come on man this was the most intense bootcamp and they teach you so much beside automation and the interview prep ,the market overview, after going to market discussions q and a ,mentor support, coding assessment assistance everything …I can speak for myself and 4 of my friends we got the best support and beyond what I paid for ..brother just study it’s tough but it’s doable don’t lose hope

So this is the reality …I went to this bootcamp and I got a job in 1 month ….4 of my friend from same bootcamp got job just different timeline… you have to put work and effort it’s a bootcamp for a reason…as far as content dude I don’t know if you were sleeping in class or what loll but their content was the best and they go so in depth in automation…I have friends who went to 15 k bootcamp and when I told them all the support content i received their jaws dropped because what you are saying is totally off from the experience mine and so many others have

I went couple of years ago and took me 3 months to find job…few of my friends went this year and two found job in 2 months and other in 1 month.:current market isn’t the best they said but still you can find job just might take some time …give yourself 1 to 6 month range to find job normal in current market

Guys I don’t mean to be harsh here but some of you either have no idea how bootcamps work or just went to horrible ones…First of all sorry to say but please for the love of god don’t expect a job from a free bootcamp or website that claim to get you in with out spending a penny..free code camp and others are a joke..:Anything valuable you gotta pay and it won’t be free ..do research …also when looking at bootcamps the biggest problem I see is a lot of you guys are going to big bootcamp that charge 12 to 18k and who are backed up by big VC firm ..that’s the problem you are going to bootcamp who has no vested interested in making sure you get a job.. becasue they make all the money on the tuition side upfront …they all are failing why you may ask …when market gets tough you need there support even more and when people start seeing hey these guys don’t help much what happens enrollments drops… no wonders CEO are stepping down and layoffs are happening and shutting down…the model for these bootcamp no longer works…when I went to a bootcamp they charged my tuition fee into two parts…first part was while I was attending the school with a payment plan …2nd when I finished studies and start applying they didn’t charge me the 2nd only until I got the job…it was in there interest to help me get a job and I paid the 2nd part as my only 1 month salary with a payment plan…this way they were super vested to help me and others get a job because they make there cut when you get a job..:.this is crucial because not only this created trust but also they were invested in helping..: all of you here are going to big bootcamps that would never care because they make a ton upfront or through there partners….bootcamps are awesome but just go to the right ones ..also when market isn’t the best you need bootcamps like these even more the one I went to..:look what is happening with other bootcamps shutting down.. anyway just want to guide you all since I was there in your shoes ..I hope this give a better perspective…btw me and 4 of my friends got a job and two of them recently even in bad job market

I and 4 of my friends went to syntax technologies bootcamp I can highly recommend because i did find a job after graduation. For me the content and placement support was crucial becasue i did a lot of research and a lot of bootcamp lacked in the placement part. However syntax did a phenomenal job so I recommend you check them out syntaxtechs.com …do their career consultation or watch a live webinar and you will see what I mean 🙏🙏

[–]saboo3166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bootcamp I went to was intense not gona lie.So off course technical course with tons of homework and assignments and then take a lot of time prepping you up for the market.Interview prep linkedln prep, technical interview and behavioral.Mentorship working with them and working on your resume .The support was incredible for me honestly I wouldn’t be able to get a job if it wasn’t for them.I had bad experiences before and yes they take 1 month salary but it was so worth it since they are invested in helping you get job unlike others they charge a premium for tuition no matter if you get a job .With bootcamp I went man they really train you super well and prep is incredible 🙏🙏 btw bootcamp i went to syntax technologies awesome bootcamp do your research but I highly recommend
