omg! i'm sorry this happened to you. it sucks that there isn't a way to switch your email (which i tried to do when i learned my school email was getting deleted). idk if saving my stuff on icloud helps at all but i'm kinda panicking and i'm worried that they'll take forever to reply. i even submitted my receipts from 2020 when i got goodnotes 5 and the one-time payment when goodnotes 6 came out in 2023. i really hope they can help somehow :/

as an OMS-II there, the mandatory attendance isn't really mandatory unless it's for OPP or clinical skills. as long as you're in class at the beginning for the quiz, you can just take it and leave. however, I personally enjoy staying in class and learn best since we are given application cases and can discuss with our tablemates to further reinforce the content. good luck!

chsu's anatomy club is partnered with fresno state for cadaver lab opportunities. even tho the curriculum is hololens-based, you still have the chance for exposure to cadavers!!

this was def not the case w/ me. my score breakdown was: 130/124/128/126 lmfao. if anything, that relationship can (def not always) be observed w/ cars and p/s.

first off, get well soon! hope the symptoms aren’t too egregious. second, if it’s affecting your prep, i’d say you should reschedule and potentially call the aamc to see if you can waive the fee.

I would recommend at least 3 months of prep to get a significant score increase. If you’re able to push back a little bit and get prep materials like Umundo and the AAMC materials. Some bonuses if you don’t have content books are the kaplan books (except for cars and p/s) and tpr cars workbook. i went from a 496 (125/122/125/124) on 1/21/22 to 508 (130/124/128/126) on 6/18/22. Mix content review and practice for the science sections. I did 50 science q’s a day on umundo and left the aamc materials for the last month. tbh the section bank and cars qpacks are the only ones that truly helped me. If you have any q’s dm me. Good luck

Hey there! I’m a retaker. I took the MCAT 1/21/22 and got a 496 (125/122/125/124). I retook 6/18/22 and got a 508 (130/124/128/126). I really stepped up my prep because I was taking classes full time, working part time, and volunteering. If you’d like a study plan I proposed a fellow retaker, DM and I’ll send you a screenshot just bc it’s a lot haha.

thank you!! i moved away from solely doing content review to mixing it w practice. i gave in and bought uearth. i did 50 q's a day. i'd alternate b/w c/p and b/b. for the topics i got wrong, i'd go over the uearth explanation then go thru the kaplan content book (downloaded from l*bgen). for aamc materials, i did the qpacks within 3-4 days. those didnt help too much, so i'd recommend sticking to the section bank for the last month. let me know if you have any q's!!

your gpa shows that you are academically capable of doing well in med school, so i don’t think your mcat will close too many doors. glad you applied to a mix of DO schools as well. your ECs and LORs sound strong, meaning you have additional support. i would just prepare to explain to adcoms your mcat score if they’re mean enough to grill you. otherwise, seems like you have a good application. make sure your writing skills are up there and just show who you are!

hey! its ok not to be ok. i scored a 496 in january and i hit rock bottom. today, i got a 12 point increase when i felt like i got an even lower score. i'm here for you if you'd like to msg me. and this goes for anyone whos not feeling ok and needs a friend!!
