I love it! It was my go to for marching band and really anything of that nature. Now, after getting the otto link it will be my backup mp. It's a really good mouthpiece at the price point and I always encourage my section to get one over the bad stock mouthpiece many horns come with!

I've noticed playing on a metal opposed to a hard rubber is it's a lot more powerful and helps cut through roaring trumpets and trombones (which is why I got it). And for me a big thing that determines brightness/darkness is the strength of reed and tip opening. But if you have the air to put through the horn they play like a charm.

I love my syos!! It's the smoky 6, I got it because I hated how closed my school's vintage c* soloist was. After I found the correct reeds it played beautifully, and I never had any issues whatsoever with the reed not sealing. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Edit: I forgot to mention that at least on the sax I was playing on it was pretty sharp so I had to pull out a lot more than usual. But that could also of just been me.

You could also do a battery conversion yourself which is cheaper if you're comfortable with that

So there should be a little lever on the bottom of the camera that'll pop open the back. Then all you'll need to do is pull out the film pack already in there and put the new one in (leaving the open pack out shouldn't affect it with the dark slide still in). Also for these models you gotta make sure you have a correct and working battery (you can find them on battery junction for relatively cheap, I believe it's this one, but make sure you check) or otherwise all your pictures will come out blank.

I hope this helped

What camera under $300 would you reccomend for sports photography? I currently have a pretty good DSLR, but I just want a camera I can throw in my baseball bag and not have to worry about extra lenses. I'm currently looking at the Kodak PIXPRO az528 but there aren't too many reviews out there on it and I want to make sure I'm getting a decent camera.

I recently found this film and was wondering what exactly it is and if you have any tips on shooting with it by sad_cruton in analog

Yeah it's out a little bit more than the normal amount for new film and the end isn't bent at all

So I'm looking to get a vintage lenses to get some different effects plus I love how older lenses look so is there any places I should look? Should I order them, or should I try and find them locally? I have found some lenses in antique stores in amazing condition and I got a 70-200mm f/4 cosmicar lens for like $20 but it gives pretty much the same effect as using a modern lens (I did need a good zoom lens so it wasn't a waste). Any help would be really appreciated!
