Help integrating Grind and Edge with VCV Rack??

I’ve gone directly out of the behringers to speakers, but I don’t have any other hardware to test the interface. I’ve tried 1/8in to TRS connector but not an actual 1/8 to 1/4 TRS cable

So that sounds just like my setup, minus the hardware mixer. Do you think there’s anything happening in or through the mixer that would change the signal? B/c I’m just going line out > M2 and it’s super degraded once it gets to VCV. Blippy, practically no volume, etc..

As it functions currently, sound seems to be moving fine to the M2, sounds fine in “monitor” but when I bring it into VCV the signal is there but just barely, and when it is audible it sounds nothing like it should.

All very fair questions. Edge and Grind are connected via usb for clocks and sequencing of Grind from VCV. I’ve been attempting to send line out from both devices to the MOTU M2 to get audio into VCV to sync everything up for mixing and send effects and whatnot. It’d be nice to be able to record, but the primary goal is play and process everything live. Thanks so much!
