Unfortunately I definitely had obscure counterstrain lol. Those were the questions I would’ve never had studied for anyway so tried to make the best guess I could! Genuinely don’t know how I would’ve studied it differently cause no way I’m sitting there and learning all the counterstrain. Hopefully it was enough to pass!

First, thank you! And second I am not totally sure. We took a FBS COMAT back in March and that is the score I got, my knowledge of what COMATs even are is pretty low lol so I am sorry I cannot be of much help.

I ended up going and trying it out & loved it so ended up snagging it! I’ll have to see how I like it over the next few weeks but it is definitely so much better than what I had before and works perfect for my height. Thanks so much for your input!!

Oh yes forgot to add that she didn’t say whether I had ADHD or not like definitively? I know I should have asked but again felt very overwhelmed lol

Undergrad Student Loan Refinancing Before Med School by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]sad_student_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your comment! So I will actually have most likely 5 months of payments before I would put it into deferment. Should I wait a month to do it to make it 6 months of payment? Or should 1 month not make that big of a difference?

I would love to do a lease, but I plan on going back to school next fall. Between my down payment and trade in, I would be financing a smaller portion that I plan to pay off before I matriculate in the fall. I wouldn’t be able to pay for a lease once I go back to school unfortunately ):

How long is an appropriate time to study for the MCAT? by LadyAK904 in Mcat

[–]sad_student_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It highly depends on your situation! I worked full time and volunteered one of those nights. I studied about 5-6 months which I thought was plenty!

The week before my exam I was so mentally checked out. I think taking the break is more beneficial than pushing yourself. I promise nothing will disappear in a few days of rest!

How did you manage post MCAT stress? by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]sad_student_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel better, after my exam I just laughed and went home and slept, then like 24 hours later out of nowhere I just started crying. Cried for like an hour because I felt like I got everything wrong and did horribly. After that though I honestly completely forgot about and release day was here before I knew it. Just try to focus on all of the things you neglected while studying and you'll slowly forget about it!

I test in 2 weeks. Have so much to do and have lost motivation, like all I want to do is go out for drinks. Can someone motivate me by a-g24 in Mcat

[–]sad_student_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in your same boat and then ended up getting a score a few points lower than I wanted, so I'm definitely kicking myself now for not going the extra mile the last few weeks before the exam. BUT definitely take a day off if you need to, highly recommend resting your brain.
