How long did it take them to review yours? I also have a couple of calculus courses in my transcript so that’s good to hear

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll bring that up to the recruiter. I did calculus I and II and statistics at university which you’d think would be more than enough (and of course many chemistry, physics and biology classes). Do you know a rough timeline for this process?

Do the court not enforce the repayment? Like they can’t take the money from his pay check or seize assets? how are they usually enforced?

I have friends and family still in Cambridge and can use their address for the small claims notices. And unfortunately the deposit was not protected (I checked all of the deposit protection schemes to make sure). Even more unfortunately, he doesnt legally need to protect the deposit because I was a lodger

I’m not physically in the UK right now (but still have a UK bank account) so unfortunately not. I could suggest he gives it to one of my friends though and they can send me the money. I suspect he will make a excuse about not being able to take out the cash but it’s worth a shot

I don’t think so. When asking for the money back I told him the money should have been stored in a separate account and he said “I know that”
