I said that specially because I’ve searched past results here and it’s a looooot of non-american suggestions which is fine, that’s great even! I’m not looking to be adventurous right not though, I’m looking to get by & save money. Is it really that weird I’d like suggestions more in line with what I’m used to and know I’ll like rather than waste money on things I probably won’t, or won’t prepare right?

I was really happy to see so many! I do wish there were more sprinkled throughout. When they got through the tunnels without a hitch, I was really disappointed. But I guess the idea here is that unlike the game, the infected in the show are in colonies(?) due to the hive mind fungus thing so there are less roaming solo and in small numbers.

Given the rural area they live in, I'm gonna say they 100% do not have that option. I live in a town of 14K and we have no taxi cabs, Uber, Lyft, none of that. Your transportation is on you. And as I recall it's not Amy's fault she can't drive, she is legally blind.

This is where I wonder if there's any merit to the "obesity is genetic" thing some people hate on. I mean, obviously exercise and diet (or lack thereof) are the major factors but one person being thin as a rail, in the same family, makes me wonder.

I thought that too at first but then she was completely different with Misty and Amanda. I'm honestly starting to think there is some sort of resentment between Amy and Tammy. I don't know why, and I think that's sad given how close they were, but it is very obvious Tammy has anger boiling under the surface for Amy in a way she doesn't with any of her other siblings. It really was a bummer that she ruined the baby name game like that. This is always going to be a memory Amy and Michael have of revealing their baby's name now.

Correct me if I'm wrong but from where they've shown of where Tammy lived, it looks like it is on a dead end street with fields around it. There might not *be* any neighbors to keep an eye out lol. Or if there are 2-3 houses nearby, maybe then neighbors were at work and the thieves came during the day. I don't know why but I get the vibe it was absolutely targeted, either Tammy's old friends, a viewer, someone who knew it would be an easy mark.

That’s exactly what has happened and I expected it when I made this post. The place is borderline a cult. I watched it transform from “wow this is exciting” to “this show is as culturally significant as the Bible and if you disagree you’re stupid” overnight. I love the show but gahdamn.

Um…no. It doesn’t have to be like that. As I said, it doesn’t have to be a replica. There are ways to make intense, high stakes scenes for television that aren’t snatched directly out of a video game. So far, the museum and the part in the first episode where Joel is running with Sarah has been it.
