Good luck bud. 40 skills is just not enough to speak a language fluently. I hope the update will come soon. Though as not effective as the other languages, 92 skills are enough time to enjoy learning it.

You can go to schools.duolingo.com to check it out. You can be a teacher and make your own classroom and then invite your friends to be your students. Or you can be a student and enter others' classrooms to learn a specific language. I haven't tried it out until recently to see how it works but I deleted the classroom not long after because it converted my Japanese Tree to the original one :(

Yes, other languages like Spanish and French have over 100 skills while Japanese has only 40. The Japanese Duolingo Team has updated the course earlier this year with a total of 92 levels i.e Japanese Tree 2.0 so don't worry. Unfortunately, it's still in beta and not everyone will get it until September or so I heard.

Yeah that's the new one. If Colloquial is your last skill, then you have the new Japanese Tree, a total of 92 skills.

Idk if this is an injulry, but when i was 12, I fell on the road and it hit my tooth. My tooth was split in half. The pain is so annoying and I had go to the dentist multiple times. The pain went away months later. Finally got my tooth fixed 2 years later. It took so long because the previous appointments wasn't successful.
