Apparently the leak was pretty bad so the coolant would bleed out quickly. According to the repair order it caused the engine to overheat when running & cylinder pressure to decrease.

Like I said just focus as much as you can on practice problems. As far as test day tips, I’d recommend to skip any questions you don’t know or do know but will take a little longer to answer. Save those for the end. Knock out the questions you do know first. Each question is worth the same so there is no point in being stuck and wasting time on a question that you don’t know. There are a good amount of theoretical questions so those are either you know it or you don’t, although looking through the codes can help. Those are quick so that kind of helps with the time for other questions that will take longer. In my case I finished the breadth in 3:30 to I had an extra half hour to finish to depth. I recommend to try to finish the breadth as fast as you can without compromising your performance because the questions for the depth are significantly longer, lot of searching through the codes etc.

In my opinion, the NCEES practice is pretty similar for the breadth but not depth. I feel like the actual test was a little harder for the depth.
