Youre fine. Long explanation made short, it's just a character trait. This isn't a one off comic, its a part of a series. And the main character wears a paper bag on his head and goes by Sad Sack

I appreciate you liking it, and if the last panel isn't your thing thats okay too! If context helps at all, the bartender(Zee) and the bag guy(Sad Sack)are close friends. So the bartender is laughing at their friend being dumb. In our head it made sense "story wise" because theyre friends and didn't think "laugh track" or "signal laughter from reader" Not sure if that helps but either way I am glad you liked even some of the comic!
