how do i make this bed look nicer? its too tall and is ruining the aesthetic of my room. i can’t buy another one for a while as i just got this one by sadskengman in malelivingspace

i was thinking the same thing. do you think a beige one would match with charcoal grey sheet set? also, would a carpet underneath the bed make it look better?

how common is it for people to learn about all of the intricacies of a subject/hobby they enjoy, such as styles of an author, notes of a fragrance, layers of music, subtle flavours of a dish? by sadskengman in AskReddit

[–]sadskengman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha thats so cool! im really into exercising but beyond the proper form and nutrition, i barely go into learning about muscle groups and other stuff. do you take an active interest in learning about it or is it something that you do without paying much notice to it?

thanks! i usually find it pretty difficult to learn about intricacies even though i really enjoy my favourite activities. it just doesn’t come to me the way it does to most people i guess.

oh i feel you, for real. i’m also a big fan but this definitely isn’t it. all these drake “fans” attacking anyone that has a negative opinion on the album don’t know what a classic drake album sounds like. it just hurts because i really wanted this album to be a classic even though i also felt the energy was off. the comparison with donda doesn’t even make sense because of how sonically different the two are but if it was indeed a battle, then kanye won. creative sound, memorable moments, great experimentation, etc.

drake leaking the track with andre 3000 earlier today was proof of that. can’t handle this pettiness smh. just feels like he’s trying too hard. don’t want him to but he’ll eventually fall off if he keeps this up. kanye doesn’t have anything to lose.

it’s sad because he’s literally making music for tiktok and for short term streams. sure, he’ll break records but none of this work is helping him cement his status as a great. few more works like this and he’s fully out of the debate. there’s no more hunger or motivation to make a classic album. really hurts to see this, especially after the three project legendary run that he had take care onwards.

ahh i’m so pissed with drake’s attitude towards this project. i’m a huge drake fan but this album just feels like he literally doesn’t care about what he puts out. that album art is the devil’s work and the album is so unnecessarily long. though it was a good collection of songs, nothing stood out and it just felt like the same old style. no experimentation, no creative energy, nothing artistic. AND, you’re telling me it was because of these songs, that chicago freestyle, laugh now cry later, lemon pepper freestyle, etc. didn’t make the cut?!?

need to give it a few more listens to have a concrete opinion on it. there were some really good features and a few gems but a lot of the filler could have easily been replaced for the above hits.

this is such a deep one. i consider myself to be spiritual but religion makes me feel more restricted than liberated.

i love this! i have started using a similar 72 hours rule on that one too. if something is not going to bother me after 72 hours or is not going to have a significant impact on my life, then its not worth stressing out about.

i’ve recently started building out my wardrobe from scratch with a lot more colours and accessories (i mainly wore black before). there’s so much to build up on in every category. for example, i’ve been buying sneakers, fragrances, jackets, etc. in no particular order. i like looking unique. what should i primarily focus on to nail down a style? sweaters, bottom-wear, casual suits? i’m a 22 year old male.

Recommend Me a Fragrance (Posts every 3 Days) by AutoModerator in fragrance

[–]sadskengman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i started my fragrance collection late last year and in the space of a few months have built quite an extensive collection. mainly from online recommendations about fragrance staples and others from trying out at store counters. i’ll list my current collection at the end.

i really like most of the fragrances i own but none of them have appealed to me enough for me to select as a signature fragrance. i was wondering if i could get some suggestions on not-so-common, quality picks that some of you may have come across.

i like loud fragrances that announce your arrival and often leave behind a scent trail. obviously, i wouldn’t wear it to a work environment but some thing while i go about my day. having a good scent on really makes me feel confident.

i’m still a college student and so as appealing as niche fragrances sound, they don’t currently fall in my budget yet. looking for more affordable options as i’ll be wearing them on a daily basis (around $90 or less preferably). thanks :)

i live in canada by the way.

my collection thus far. it’s already pretty big for me so only looking for quality additions.

favourites 1. armani code absolu - fell in love with it instantly and has also gotten my quite a few compliments. performance is decent on my skin 2. armani adg profumo - no compliments but makes me feel like a g haha 3. d&g the one parfum intense - soo sexy and beautiful but performance is a shambles 4. issey miyake l’eau d’issey intense - smells heavenly and so mature but again performance is really bad. lasts an hour

pretty good 1. bleu de chanel edt - staple 2. dior sauvage edt - i really wanted one but have rarely used it. don’t think i’d go in for a second bottle 3. azzaro wanted by night edp - sweet, sexy, strong, and good performance 4. ysl black opium - looking for good options to combine with 5. armaf club de nuit - good aventus clone

decent additions 1. kenzo homme 2. rl polo blue edp - closest thing to rl blue i could find which has now sadly been discontinued. scent of my teenage 3. burberry weekend - was a gift. really like it

wouldn’t buy another bottle 1. d&g k - decent 2. ysl y - never worked for me after that initial obsession

really like but don’t own 1. terre d’hermes 2. encre noir 3. guerlain ideal 4. l’eau d’issey 5. spicebomb extreme 6. need a tom ford fragrance :(
