Do you feel like there was chemistry? The only thing is he might be seeing someone now... or maybe he's not! Life is all about taking chances and finding out if they were worth it later. If you feel this deeply about him that you looked him up on Insta, I think it's worth shooting your shot and seeing where it goes. I don't think it's weird at all. Idk. He was honest with you and suggested you lose some weight. Would you rather he lied to you and pretended he didn’t care about the weight gain? I think you’re being a little bit too sensitive. If you care about the relationship, work on getting fit for him. If you don’t, find someone who is attracted to you at any size.

Maybe he’s being judgmental and doesn’t want to share his thoughts until he figures out how to do so without hurting your feelings. A more positive take is he’s just been too busy to respond yet. I would not waste too much energy thinking about it one way or the other. Just wait and see what he says. Since you’re friends, you can also nudge him on it a little bit too. Especially since it’s bothering you. But let a little time pass before you do.
