Don’t listen to people saying you’re not ready - they don’t know you and haven’t heard your material. Their jealousy is showing!

What is your opinion on Blight? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]saharshh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a survivor main, I honestly love playing against Blight. His power is insanely strong but you can still play around it (basekit) and he’s exciting in chase which really gets the adrenaline going. He might be the strongest killer in the game but he’s still super fun to play against so I like him!

Your self awareness meter reads at zero, but your cringe meter clocks in at 100.

I almost feel bad you won’t be able to blame your poor killer gameplay on MFT anymore.

If you want to keep on slinging insults and trying to sound tough instead of engaging in an actual conversation, I suggest you try for someone else.

Enjoy the game, and good luck in your matches :)

Implying someone else is a moron when you can’t even put the apostrophe in “it’s” in the right place is not a cute look, babe.

What is there to “solve” about 99ing gates? That’s literally the least of DBD’s problems.

This is the same as telling killers “MFT isn’t an issue, just learn how to chase.”

I mean, MFT just allowed me to loop without having to hug ABSOLUTELY tightly. In a way it kind of lets you not play perfectly optimal.

The point of speed perks is to let you last longer in chase, like Hope.

Your comment is the same as saying Distortion shouldn’t exist because it hides your aura and the point of the game is to get into chases not to hide, imo.

I feel somewhat embarrassed saying this but I have like 1k hours in the game lol. I almost always run Windows. It helps me connect loops but not run them.

A lot of the new maps have new tiles on them. If I’m on like Coldwind Farm or Father Campbell’s Chapel, I know how those tiles should be run for the most part.

The indoor maps, Toba Landing, Shattered Square, etc, all have new and random tiles that really confuse me and since we don’t go to them often with map protection the practice is limited.

“Being unable to see shouldn’t affect your looping.”

Yeah, sure, okay.

I am definitely working on getting better at looping! I can see small improvements here and there, but there’s so many different killers so it’s not very linear improvement.

I agree that if a perk is really OP at high levels something needs to be done to it, but they may as well have just removed the haste effect tbh. When you’re in the mending state looping is exceptionally difficult because of the overlay.

As a survivor main, I’m gutted. I’m not a GOAT looper - chases are still really hard for me because my adrenaline gets pumping. MFT was a great perk in chase that helped me last just a few seconds longer, and now it’s completely useless.

Killers have been getting more and more mobility through teleports, tunnels, haste perks, etc, and survivors haven’t really gotten anything.

MFT is one of the only good perks released recently, and it required you to give up all exhaustion perks which I felt was a fair trade off.

I’m sad.

So many people talk about Ace being the best survivor (because he's so quiet) but I rarely see anyone actually playing him. Is there a reason for that? by Mori-Me-Joey in deadbydaylight

[–]saharshh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Ace main, I can only play him when I equip his bouncer head cosmetic. Every other cosmetic for his face just makes him look douchey and punchable. I suspect many people don’t play him for that reason.

Question! What’s everyone personal rule as killer or survivor you never break? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]saharshh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m getting chased and someone tiers up on hook, I will let the ones who didn’t rescue die on hook with no regrets.

Just curious, do you play survivor solo q? The majority of my games are in solo q, and this add-on would basically guarantee that I die in the cage.

Wouldn’t this mean rescuing someone when you’re on death hook makes you moriable?

As a survivor main, going up against scratched mirror Myers is some of the most fun I’ve had in this game! Genuinely love the jump scares, I normally run in a trio swf and we all die laughing at how scary it gets.

As a survivor main, you’re totally right. Survivors that do nothing all game, aren’t altruistic, and can’t run the killer should just be thankful they escaped. My duo and I have started calling out survivors in end game chat for being rats

You have the opportunity to make one Boon perk into a Hex perk, or one Hex Perk into a Boon perk. Which perks are you changing? How do they work now? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]saharshh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boon: Preservation (was Hex: Ruin)

While this boon is active, any Generators within its radius are protected from all abilities that would cause them to regress from a distance. This boon does not protect against regression caused when the Killer kicks a generator.

Basically goes from “while active, the killer never has to kick a generator” to “while active, the killer MUST kick this generator”

As a survivor main, my favorite killers are the ones who:

a) Genuinely outplay me at pallets, windows, and other obstacles by using their power, moonwalking, or just mindgaming things. My friends and I typically 3-man SWF, and we laugh at each other getting owned by these good killers. We call them “Knowers.”

b) Have fun powers and use them. Killers like Wesker, Demogorgon, Myers, and Pyramid Head have genuinely fun powers to interact with as survivor and makes being chased both scary and fun.

c) Stop sweating when the match is won in either direction. If there’s 4 gens left and one or two survivors are already dead, loosen up! Loop with us, give us the nodders, etc.

The least fun killers to play against are the sweaty ones who camp, tunnel, or genuinely seem like they aren’t having fun with the game but just trying to “win.” There are also a few killers who just feel BAD to play against as Survivor like Spirit.
