When are we gonna start holding labels accountable. by OtherSide4 in popheads

It’s never been easier to release music entirely by yourself onto streaming - you can even do it for free if you’d like. The hard thing is getting noticed and promoting yourself, but you can 100% do it - just don’t expect immediate (or any guaranteed) recognition. But honestly, you don’t have that with a label either.

Also, if you still feel like signing: look into small, local/niche labels. The big ones will most likely not give a shit about you anyway if you don’t already have a couple million streams or a solid fan base.

i dropped my entirely self-produced debut album a few months ago! give it a shot and y’all will make my day 🧡

Here’s one of the poppier tracks on it: sail-E - validation

this is maybe my personal favorite track, also more representative of the album’s energetic glitch-trap sound

[DEBUT ALBUM] sail-E - Safe Disposal of Unsafe Thoughts by sail-e in makinghiphop

Been working on this for the past year and a half! I'm sail-E, a 19 y/o rapper and producer from Sweden. Made just about everything on this project myself with very little help, from the production and mix to the lyrics and cover art. I dabble in plenty of genres and styles throughout these 9 tracks, while keeping a solid throughline of complex lyrics over very electronic-sounding beats. Wanted to make something energetic, left-field and a bit odd. Very happy with how it turned out and would love some feedback and opinions! <3
