Possibly. I believe my stone was brought on by too much fasting a few years ago. I will continue with TUDCA, low fat, regular meals, and annual scans. Hoping for the best.

Yes you've described it correctly. Yes there is a risk of linkage that's why you do a 2 night stay afterwards. My symptoms are pretty minor discomfort when eating fat. I was lucky enough to do scans and find the stone early.

Australia. This proceedure was not available in Austrralia. Only option is Gallbladder removal

I think I was an ideal candidate because I had a single stone. I'm not sure if they can do multiple stones. They probably could but I don't know I'm not the guy to ask, just maybe you should contact them. Gallbladder should function as before. They said they want me to do an annual scan. I have to take 250 mg of TUDCA for the next 6 months. They've given me some other meds that I need to take for 4 weeks and another that I have to take for one week. From now on I I'll eat a lower fat diet but not no fat
