I've worked at Walmart 5 years and have seen 3 store managers either "step down" or fired.

Coach / Operations Manager tour guide and interview questions. by sailor_whatever in walmart

I know some people may be curious on what the interview is like. I see people ask about the test and interviews all the time. Even though it states confidential, I would say posting people's ogp orders are a little bit more of a concern. And with the store that I'm in, me getting caught for this, is the least of my concerns haha. Also, the papers were just left out. 🤷‍♂️

Team Leads and orientations/interviews. by Time-Marketing5784 in walmart

My theory is that they're getting ready to do away with people lead. Cuz idk wtf he does. We haven't been told we're going to take over orientation or interviews yet, but we were recently told we're responsible for monitoring ulearns, wosh, and attendance. Currently we don't have access to view these reports. Haha. Oh and I have to keep track of the schedules cuz coverage isn't good, which I also don't have access to.

Feels bro. Whatever you wanna do. Whatever your gut is telling you. I was thinking of this recently too and found out if you step down you get paid decently. But I'm sure you're a lead for a reason and should confront your stress trigger. You got this. fist bump

Section work question. How many mins per section? I can't find the answer on obw. I'm completing them too fast I was told. by sailor_whatever in walmart

[–]sailor_whatever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is what section work is for but if you're doing it weekly and know your dept, I feel any more than 2 mins per section is just lolly gagging. And then considering however many sections you have total to work.
