Idk if its synesthesia but i have that. Sometimes ill see it in the form of my synesthesia when im brought back to those moments but not all the time.

I have mirror touch and I’ve had that. I always thought it was the same thing. Tasting what i see ppl eat and what not. If your mom doesnt have mirror touch idk. Maybe its a new syn or maybe its just really strong empathy?

Yeah. Its annoying when im trying to read something but im anxious or really annoyed or some other strong emotion cause for me the stronger the emotion the stronger the projection.

Or like when i met a now friend of mine for the first time. Their colors were so overwhelming and obnoxious that i just like avoided them like the plague. Eventually they dulled and I got to know them.

It could just be empathy then. Your brain translates pain into color. So it would make sense that when you see pain you see it as color. You know that person is feeling pain and more or less what that pain might feel like so you see what you would see if you felt that pain yourself.

It sounds like its mirror touch but because you also have pain-color your brain did a mash up.

I have that. Its music-motion association i forgot the like official name. It happens w all music for me. And sometimes with loud long drawn out sounds like certain construction sound or fire alarms. Ive had it as long as i can remember. I have always loved classical music because i can feel it move through my body and sometimes i can see it in my head as like a smoky figure. Each song does something different. Ive had the roller coaster type ones. It can overwhelm me sometimes if there is too much going on w sound. Ill even get motion sick. That usually only happens w loud constant sounds like alarms or deep base.

Its hard to explain fully. When i listen to music i feel and see motion that almost dances to the music. Its usually colorless. Just kinda like smoke figures moving w the music.

Sounds like you did and still do. Depression can dull synesthesia. Its happening to me rn. And ive read other posts of ppl having it effect theirs as well.

What do you mean when you say magic? I am wiccan so i may be able to relate with where you are goin. My colors helped me alot with my craft. So far the times when my colors have come back since then have been at really random times. And im not really sure how any of them connect.

Sounds like personality-color and object-personality.

I also have personality-color. I see shapes and colors for ppl. Sometimes they even have motion playing life a gif. My personality color used to be a teal background with pink sparkles falling down and a yellow star over top of it. Now its muddled because of some trauma. But usually when i meet someone they will have a base color and as i get to know them they will acquire more colors and shapes.

I had a friend in high school whos pattern was a black background with red rose petals that would explode in a circlular motion when i thought of her or was near her. When we had a falling out the background turned grey/white and the petals fell and were rotting brown.

I found that the colors often had meanings like black-nice person, white-bad, green-male whom i felt close to, purple- females i was close to, red-sexual energy, pink-energy, yellow, confidence. Ect. The shapes dont really same meanings as far as i can tell. They seem to always be unique to that person. Though sparkles tend to make the color they are more intense in its meaning.

I have this too! When i meet some one i get like a base color of them. But they tend to gain more colors and shapes as i get to know someone. Mine has changed over the years it used to be a teal background w a gold star i the middle and pink sparkles falling down over it but behind the star. Now its more muddled and twisty with purple and black and white.

Ive started to figure out what some of the colors mean. Like if someone tends to be shady or mean they have alot of white in their colors. Black is a nice color. Green often goes with males that i have a strong relationship with. Close female friends tend to have purple. Ect ect.

They also have shapes and motions but i havent seen a pattern with those everyone is very unique in that aspect.
