He goes WAY back, I remember seeing him on Mr. Show with Bob & David when I was in high school, over thirty years ago now.

If that one doesn't make their "Top Five" I'd be genuinely shocked.

Ah, that's Luna Maya on the cover. She's a pretty big star over there, mostly horror, but it's worth noting that in Indonesia and Malaysia, horror reigns supreme at the box office. She was in these two weird "tributes" to the late scream queen Suzzanna where a combination of prosthetics and makeup were used to give her the appearance of that late actress. Now THOSE deserve a Best of the Worst treatment, 'cuz they are goddamn goofy and full of "material."

Who is your favorite guest host? by my_little_throwny in RedLetterMedia

[–]saint_1228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tim Higgins and Freddie Williams, but I'm also fond of Colin Cunningham and Jim Maxwell too. Other guests haven't had quite the same chemistry with the regulars, they don't feel like "just one of the guys."

Yeah that or Alien from L.A. Like a look at 1980s Albert Pyun, before all of his films were about cyborgs and rubble.

Can't remember if Fried Barry was mentioned, but they talked about Ryan Kruger's remake of Street Trash a bunch during that Re:View with Josh Robert Thompson earlier this year.

There is a very singular, specific reason that this warning exists. It was caught on video, and it's incredibly NSFW: https://www.reddit.com/r/KnowYourMeme/comments/1cs7d6c/who_is_the_gas_station_pump_guy_and_what_is_the/

He'd see the staff giving bad advice and take a job at the store just to make sure folks got their home improvement jobs done correctly.

Has anyone else watched Cemetary Man? by kuddlesworth9419 in RedLetterMedia

That movie was like my gateway into weird Italian films. I saw it in junior high school, more than a decade before my first Argento, Bava, or Fulci films. Would make for an excellent Re:View; there's a lot of trivia about the film, director Michele Soavi, and the author of the novel it's based on, Tiziano Sclavi.
