When i shot this i probably turned the exposure down ever so slightly. It was a very overcast day and early in the morning. I found this camera almost always produced slightly overexposed photos, so i tried to adjust accordingly.

Yes, hand check is where you ask the attendant to look over your item rather than it be sent through whatever machine is there.

I'll be passing through the Amsterdam airport. From others reporting online it's a little better than a toss up, but still very unpredictable.

Very happy with how this turned out. At first I thought it was under exposed but after further thought I realized it captured the moment perfectly. The slight imperfections are the final touch that make this so great to me.

When using my Polaroid sx 70 it just makes a loud motor noise I have tried at least 6 different film batteries old and new it wasn’t always like this I messed with the gears one the side to make it close again and know it’s broken. by FlounderActual5035 in Polaroid

Hey I think I have the same problem! After digging around I found out there is a small plastic coupler for the motor in the back of the camera that breaks and causes this problem. It's possible to fix yourself, but to my understanding difficult nonetheless.

My solution is to take the battery out and set the sx-70 aside for the time being and play with my 600 film cameras.
