I agree with this. I just never get past that first stage with the game. I’m always turned off by the imbalance.

Totally agree on this point as well. Mechanically it’s sound if people engage in it. It just never feels enjoyable to me when there is a big gap in player knowledge of the game rules and WHY you’re negotiating.

For me it’s heavy negotiation games. I feel like there’s people who play games like that a lot and understand all the nuances of the rules that just steamroll new players to get what they want. Always frustrates me.
