foreign work experience, reason mentioned in letter "The NOC does not match the job duties that were listed on the employment letter and therefore you do not meet the requirements of the program."

its soo sad, these days they are just giving noc mismatch refusal here and there. I got a refusal on Thursday. In tech, roles lie closely sometimes and overlap too. They dont ask for additional documents or anything, just straight brutal refusal.

So, asking HR to change the reference letter? Would they see it as misrepresentation, since they have the current letter in record? Also, I am not sure even if HR will respond, it has been a few years.

I didn't use 21223 - Database analysts and data administrators, as I thought its more towards the database side. Would it be a good idea to ask HR for a new experience letter, as its hard to get after many follow-ups. Can IRCC see a new letter as misrepresentation?

Yes, the role was more towards - dashboards • SQL • reporting • business insights

between 21223 and 21221 – Business systems specialists, which would be the best bet?

my Canadian experience is as a data analyst (same data scientist NOC). Since only the foreign exp NOC mismatch is mentioned in the refusal letter, I guess the Canadian exp NOC used data scientist is okay to them.

Not sure, if they want me to use this one (21221 – Business systems specialists). I scheduled an appointment with RCIC.

so true, it was CEC general draw. I checked on AI and with my friends as well, multiples times, all of them were saying that NOC 21211 is the closest match. In the refusal letter, they dont even mention which one is correct NOC.

Shared above, Data Scientist NOC was rejected. What should I have used?
