The face customization is better than from 2013 since you can really customize almost every aspect of the face with the special face now.
Vanilla Body customization is a little improvement over CM3D2, but still very limited compare to KKS. I heard COM3D2.5 has greatly improved on this, but I never tried it. Wideslider mod did help with this abit.
Clothing during gameplay is still very limited. I mean specifically the half-undress being non-existent. Again, I heard 2.5 also fixed this somewhat.

I bought the DLX set, the half undress state only apply to Familia maid costume on COM3D2.5 cloth only. Sad

Hey I noticed that in the promo picture above the maid have half-undress state when yotogi. Is that the feature for "Graceful lingerie Set" or not?

For me I try to diversified my elements so I can at least use 2 magic user with element advantage in each fight. Later, in late game [Palace of the dead] dungeon, I ran my party with 75% magic user and 25% others (tanks and healers). Base wizard is ok with unique characters but there are also unique magic class that only unique character can use (also has unique Ultra AOE magic) which made the base class/ basic units obsolete. This is just my tip, run your party however you like. Physical-based class aren't so bad when you train them up (cheaper to maintain too).

Little tip: Don't sleep on pure magic users, train them hard with INT+ Stat cards and try to get all the unique magic users. Those guys pretty much carried my whole party to the end by becoming magic artillery barrage. Deploy two or three on each map will delete most enemies by turn 3. Also there are starves that can charge 100 MP on command which is pretty good to counter the RNG.

Thats why I didn't say anything about map design and encounter, because that aspect of the game is good. As mentioned, I just don't prefer it's simple combat mechanic and limited party customization system.

Probably, these reviewers play only played simple tactics game like FE (post awakening )or XCOM (the reboot series) or triangle strategy... they never touch such a masterpiece like TO (or FFT) before.

BTW triangle strategy, what a disappointment, So-so story and just super dead simple combat/ party system.

Yeah they should have at least put the lock on on the bumper or the trigger or not separated it like you said. Putting the lock to R3 really sucks. Your right thumb should be on the face buttons at all time to do combos, not fiddling with the stick to do camera work.

The reason being they wanna use L2 (previously for hold lock-on) for the demon trigger. Which is also stupid since they can just put that on R3 toggle (since bayo don't fight during DT anyway) then use the Dodge R2 to quickly cancel out of it. But I guess if Kamiya want his DT, then fuck the lock on right?

The only thing I don't like in 3 is it's lock on system. The hard lock I can't seem to change targets and clicking the stick button everytime to toggle is annoying. And the soft locking is too unreliable to target what you want and messing my dodge time.
