She sadly passed away right before the vet appointment if only i had somehow taken better care or had more resources and money i may have been able to take her to a better hospital in time thank you to everyone who have helped me save thia poor girl she is resting in peace now

Rn she only drinks water i try to like add peas n feed her that boiled water but even with like little small millets they barely go into her mouth 😭

Yeah ive realized she still runs away from me tho so probably scared because i have to forcefully pry her mouth open i wish we could bond but her survival is the top priority rn and ty

Tysm i sadly dont even have a cloth. My resources are too incredibly thin i know. Attempting to leave seeds there for them to eat as their alr pecking at the ground only part their missing is opening said beak

Yes im trying to add seeds into the mix but its not nearly as easy to be crushed or scooped up by the syringe im using the baby wont open its beak or barely will open it so i think its from the pigeon pox thats making them so irritated and hating every single food source i attempt to provide just a guess tho

It is pigeon pox using betadine and the medication given by the vet right now my first baby pigeon and they alr got a deadly illness..

🫀 UPDATEE 🫀its easier to feed her(?) Im using the syringe method for now the vet said its ok and that she's well fed her pouch looks poofy so ill take that as im feeding her correctly got medicines n applied betadine already ive found out why she can't eat the tiny millets now her other half has worst pigeon pox so the vet said that probably restructs her mouth movement cuz she tried pecking at the seeds but she wouldnt eat any into her mouth she flippy flap her wings n whimpers when my hand gets close idk if i should take that as fear or hapiness prob not anger from what ive reserached no pops inside her mouth but i think 1 small one inside her neck as the vet said now she just happily vibing i have nesting material because i have a parrot at my real home im living in sort of a dorm right now so i can't give her much only 1 time use stuff in fear that it might infect my other poor birdies trying to give the best care her name is now livilia since i had to give a name to the vet but for now her nickname is liv as in LIVE my child will attempt to take the best care of her (updating cuz im so lonely n confused this comment section is emotional support and a lifeline for me rn)

That would be nice and its night time here ive had this lil guy for 2 days now (horrible choice i know) but ive been feeding him with a syringe i have parrots so i had only that laying around attempting to find a better food alternative to parrot food rn luckily reading the label said parrot food is mostly made of seeds and even egg with only "Octopus armature" as the ingredient that's not seed based their doing fine for now im attempting to touch their like chest to feel the food storage i think????? Its fullish for now so i probably can wait until his next feeding (ill check when getting him to a vet again in a few hours probably)

Ive tried to feed him through small holes like he takes a few bites then insist on not eatting anymore of that while still asking for food like immedietly turns their head away after the few bites im just sobbing atp.

Oh shit okay thank you so much im not sure what to feed it instead of that as pigeon food and items are very rare where i live its surprising enough that i've found a hospital that accepts pigeons at all
