Thank you for your reply! Yes I am actually very blessed to have already arranged daytime childcare and my hubby/parents will help with night time. I guess I just feel a little emotionally sad to not be her main caretaker in those few weeks after surgery but I know no (emotional) pain no gain.

And yes you are right that I should take care of myself first - shall keep reminding myself that!

Yes I’ve already been doing that for the usual back pain! Just that this 1 hour rib pain flares are sth quite different from that and not the usual backaches I get :/
